About Ozric Tentacles. Certainly not an easy band to pigeonhole, Ozric Tentacles have been channeling music from a fantastical realm since the early '80s. Stylistically, they take inspiration from the spacey, Fusion-style jams and cosmic guitar solos of proud hippie predecessors Gong.

Ozric's 21st studio album. 90 minutes of mind bending astral journeys ready and waiting to transport you to another world. Over 30 years into their musical career, Ozric's continue to push the boundries where no band has gone before.

OZRIC TENTACLES Vinyl Records and CDs English progressive rock/space rock band founded in in Somerset. They fused jazz-rock, hard-rock and acid-rock into an energetic, slick, variegated sound to produce a synthesis that sounded both ambitious and natural. Mar 23,  · Everything was set for a masterpiece. And Ozric Tentacles delivered their magnum opus. When you reach the top of your game of course, there’s usually one way to go. The next album, Strangeitude, was musically maybe even more accomplished, but containing only six tracks it was impossible to come anywhere near the diversity and wealth of Erpland/5(73).

Apr 18,  · Erpland is one of their finest albums IMO, and should be in every collection. The CD doesn't sound like it has been remastered from the earlier edition i had. The packaging is great, all the original art, and some added info on the album/5(64).
