The CD was in perfect condition. The recording is fine but for some reason it doesn't sound as bright (trumpet section) as the other Basie cd's that I own. The band swings but it seems to lack the sizzle of the more recent recordings made by the Basie band. Overall I recommend this album, only has 6 songs but they're all very good/5(47). -
